We have partnered with Meta to bring their Spark AR education into a live metaverse format. In this 8 week live introduction to Spark AR course, you will learn how to use Spark AR studio, Visual Programming, and the Spark AR library.
You will also learn how to navigate the Spark AR interface, create face as well as world tracking effects, and how to publish, manage, and track the performance of your effects.

8 Weeks
Meetings on Saturdays from 12:00-2:00pm EST.
If you can't make one of the live classes, we'll send you a recording after class so you can catch up.
6-8 hours per week.
This course assumes no previous experience, so students of all levels are welcome.
In this course, you will learn tools such as face and target trackers, patch editor, the AR Library, and the simulator as well as understand materials, lighting, occlusion, and integrating 3D models. We will be going through the Spark AR courses offered by Meta. If you can't keep pace with the run for any reason you can always go at your own pace and take any future runs of the course for free.
This is a project-based course where you will be building up to 2 Spark AR projects a week. By the end of the course, you will have a portfolio of up to 8 Spark AR effects. In our later course, you will learn to create more engaging and interactive effects and publish your own personal AR effects to Facebook and Instagram.
Thanks to our partnership with Meta, if you graduate from both of our Spark AR courses you get a certificate from Universe and be given a free voucher which will waive the $150 fee to take the certification exam to get the Facebook Certified Spark AR Creator badge.
